How to report something usefully, what we already know is missing, and how refunds for Pro work.
BackHere is built by Z-SOFT in Da Nang. The app runs entirely on your phone, which means we cannot see anything that happens on your side — everything we know arrives in letters like yours.
Reporting something
Four things that let us reproduce it
Device and OS
For example: iPhone 12, iOS 17.4.
App version
At the bottom of the Settings screen.
What you were doing
And what you expected instead.
A screenshot
Usually that alone is enough.
If it is about location
These three help more than anything else:
- Indoors or outdoorsA basement or a street of tall buildings always positions worse.
- The accuracy figure when you savedThe app shows it under the save button.
- What the arrow said, and the real distanceThe gap between those two is what we need.
Things we already know are missing
Syncing across devices, a "you are walking away from a saved place" reminder, and grouping places by trip. No need to report those — but it is very useful to know which one matters most to you.
About money
Pro is sold through the App Store and Google Play, so a refund has to go through Apple or Google rather than through us — we never take the payment, so we cannot return it.
If you have paid and the app is still locked, try the Restore button on the Pro screen first. If that does not do it, write to us with a screenshot of the store receipt.
